Whatever You Do

I hope and pray all is well with you and your family. I often think back on how God has called me, equipped me for ministry, and sent me to reach out to one more for Jesus. And when I do that, I think about how blessed I am because God has used you to encourage me and enable my journey of creating hospitality through overflowing generosity with a delicious cup of coffee. You’re a blessing to me and Overflowing Ministries. I thank God for you!

I have multiple words that describe me, such as believer, husband, father, church planting catalyst, pastor, Etsy seller, and even a realtor. However, more people today recognize me as the coffee guy, which led me to change my Instagram handle to @karothecoffeeguy, and my personal website’s url is also karothecoffeeguy.com. I love it!

Even though I love coffee—and I’m now called the coffee guy to some people—you should know that I love coffee and Jesus, but not necessarily in that order. I would have said cupcakes and Jesus if I loved cupcakes. I would have said orange juice and Jesus if I loved orange juice. I would have used anything and everything I loved to share the gospel with one more.

This is my encouragement to you. “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.” Colossians 3:23-24

I pray that the Lord will continue to keep you and bless you so that you will continue to be a blessing to everyone around you. I pray that you will be filled with joy and peace as you trust in Jesus Christ so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
